There is room for debate as to whether Israel should have appeared at the International Court of Justice in The Hague. Israel can and must show the entire democratic world the way - to rebel against the fakeness of the UN institutions.
The affair is an important juncture in the ongoing attempt by the "international community" to enforce international law on nation states through non-democratic institutions, such as the United Nations or the Hague Tribunal. It is difficult to enforce it on strong states, let alone on superpowers.
