Parcel vehicle bursts into flames. Police: Cause of the fire is an as yet unexplained technical defect.
The packages loaded in the vehicle repeatedly caught fire, making it difficult to extinguish the fire. The motorway in the direction of Stuttgart was completely closed for around 40 minutes. There was a kilometer-long backlog during rush hour traffic. The amount of total damage cannot yet be estimated, according to the Fürstenfeldbruck traffic police station. The fire also destroyed all the packages.
