44 people on the quays of Charente and Gironde (19th century) were sheltered in temporary reception centers. This is the third shelter since the start of 2024.
With this third shelter operation, 195 people have been taken care of since January 1st. At the end of 2023, 430 young migrants from Belleville Park had also benefited from shelter. But a few days later, at least forty of them had received a notification asking them to leave their accommodation within two days. They were invited to submit an application for a residence permit or asylum.
