The driver of an RATP bus on line 60 (Gambetta-Porte de Montmartre) had to stop his vehicle urgently, between Porte de Pantin and Porte des Lilas. Reason: a worrying release of smoke coming from the rear of the bus.
The driver, alone on board, had time to bring him to safety and notify emergency services before the engine caught fire. He didn't do any harm to himself or anyone else on board the bus, which had not yet started its tour.
