A person was arrested this Sunday and placed in police custody after practicing “train surfing” on line 2 of the metro. This particularly dangerous practice consists of standing on the roof of a metro train.
One of the two young people was arrested a little further away, Quai de Valmy (10th arrondissement). The second fled and was not found by authorities. The accused was in possession of a “Go Pro” type camera on his chest. This was referred for “penetration and circulation in a part of the railway line, or its dependencies, not allocated to public traffic, in public rail transport” He faces six months' imprisonment and a fine of 3,750 euros. No deterioration was noted on the metro line. There was also no interruption of traffic. According to BFMTV, the daredevil's custody ended this Monday evening.
