Town Hall of the 17th arrondissement of Paris is committed to the fight against street harassment. On Thursday evening, it became the first district town hall to partner with the Umay mobile application.
This partnership allows it to benefit from real-time mapping of anonymized reports from users who are victims of harassment or assault. Umay also offers users the ability to secure their travels by sharing their geolocation in real time with trusted loved ones. “Every year, we think about new actions to contribute to public peace and the security of property and people,” said Mayor (LR) Geoffroy Boulard.
