Paris: the town hall closes the website of the anti-abortion association “Les Survivants”. “The closure of the site of the small group Les Survivants is excellent news for women’s rights,” declared the mayor (PS) of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.
The association became known last spring for having, on two occasions, led campaigns to denigrate the right to abortion by sticking hundreds of stickers on Vélib's. When contacted, the domain name registrar of the association's site found “fanciful coordinates” which led to its closure.
