An explosion took place this Sunday in an apartment in the 11th arrondissement of the capital, triggering a major fire. At 8:30 p.m., police and the Paris fire brigade (BSPP) arrived on site.
Seventeen engines were used to bring the fire under control. Three people were killed, according to a police source in Le Figaro. According to several residents, one of them, a man according to testimonies, died after trying to escape from his home through the window.
