Paris town hall signed a new concession contract for electricity distribution this Thursday. 3 billion euros of investment are planned between now and 2050 to adapt the Parisian electricity network to the consequences of climate change.

“This unprecedented concession contract places Parisian territory at the forefront of the energy transition in France,” declared Anne Hidalgo, the mayor (PS) of Paris. This is a very important first step towards achieving the objectives of carbon neutrality, energy sobriety and renewable energy production of the new Paris Climate plan.
