Partial municipal election in Garches: Jeanne Bessentiel re-elected after weeks of tension. Outgoing mayor won 46.20% of the votes.
That is 294 votes ahead of his opponent Yves Ménel (DVD), who obtains 41.4%. The left union list led by Isabelle Le Madec (PS) obtained 12.4% of votes cast. This second round was marked by an increase in participation – 45.4 percent of those registered – compared to the first.
