Patrolman killed on the A8, near Nice: remand in custody of the driver of the “crazy car” required. Four people, including two gendarmes, were also injured.
The motorist involved was briefly hospitalized before being placed in police custody at the Nice research brigade. It is now up to a judge of freedoms and detention (JLD) to decide on the fate of this individual before his judgment. The prosecution specifies that it has requested his placement in pre-trial detention.
