Pensioner (90) falls for the wrong public prosecutor: tens of thousands of euros lost. The Erding police are investigating.
A man who pretended to be a public prosecutor over the phone defrauded a 90-year-old Zornedinger of several thousand euros. The stories told in this scam are similar: alleged officials call their victims by phone and claim that a close relative caused a serious traffic accident. Only by paying a large amount of cash can a prison sentence be avoided.
