This year's European elections will take place on Sunday, June 9th. The municipality of Poing currently has around 12,200 eligible voters.
There are seven electoral districts set up for ballot box voting and six electoral districts for postal voting. The members of the individual electoral boards are appointed from among those eligible to vote in the community and carry out voluntary work. Eligible voters from other member states of the European Union can also be appointed to this honorary position. People who have no previous experience as a member of an electoral board can also apply.
