Poing far away from its new development areas: searching for traces of the oldest house. The oldest houses in the community are or were on the south side of the railway line.
Many of the earlier buildings have already been demolished and replaced with new ones or have been heavily remodeled. The old Moar Villa at Hauptstrasse 24 (at Maibaumplatz) is also still preserved. The inn with beer garden at the S-Bahn station in the Grub district is also very old.
