Police operation in Frankfurt ends fatally – background unclear. One person died in a major police operation on the Deutscherrnufer in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen on Tuesday evening.
The exact cause of death and the background to the incident are still completely unclear. A shot is said to have been fired. The police are currently still busy collecting evidence at the scene.
