PortAventura: 14 injured by falling tree on roller coaster. Uprooted by the gusts of wind sweeping Catalonia, the tree fell onto the tracks of the wooden “coaster” of the great Spanish amusement park.
The branches that fell on the tracks would have hit the first wagon of a train launched on the route, which would not have derailed, sources said. According to the local newspaper, the two seriously injured are adults, and at least one suffers from head trauma.
