Ballot papers and envelopes are available for every postal voter. The size of ballot paper and also the ballot envelope is regulated by law. In 2021, a total of 28.6 percent of voters had cast their votes by postal vote. The length of the ballotPaper is different in each of the 299 constituencies in Germany. The longest ballot paper in Germany was issued for the 2017 federal election.
