Prince Harry is suing Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), which owns the Daily Mirror, Sunday Mirror and The People. Harry's indictment includes that about 140 articles published between 1996 and 2010 contain information collected using unlawful methods.

During cross-examination, Prince Harry could also unearth unpleasant memories of alcohol and drug use during his love affair with his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy. The last time a royal was cross-examined in court was in the 19th century. Up to two days are scheduled for the trial.
