The public prosecutor's office and defense had previously accepted a proposal from the court to end the proceedings early by paying 8,000 euros for a charitable purpose. Brigadier General Markus Kreitmayr was accused of failing to cooperate in criminal proceedings under Section 40 of the Military Penalty Act. The trial surrounding an ammunition affair was to last until the end of the year.
