Rabbi Goldschmidt in Berlin: The Torah flourishes here - voila! Judaism. He gave a Torah lesson at the Beit Midrash for the rabbis that he re-founded about 15 years ago.
"Every time I visit the beit midrash that I receive, I am reminded of the words of Rabbi Hanina ben Tardion, who taught Torah openly and was executed by burning wrapped in Torah scrolls," he said.
