Peter Kloeppel is leaving "RTL Aktuell" after more than 30 years. The 65-year-old will be seen there for the last time at the end of August.
He wants to live mostly in the USA in the future and spend more time with his wife and daughter. He will be replaced by Ulrike von der Groeben, who has been with the show since 1992. The end of an era in which one or two breakdowns happened - and one of them will never be forgotten.
