A man dressed in a djellaba was allegedly hiding a rifle or rifle under his clothing. He was arrested at the Villeparisis/Mitry-le-Neuf station (Seine-et-Marne), penultimate on the line towards Mitry-Claye.

Police located this man, asleep, in the RER B train, in possession of an unloaded 22 long rifle. The man was in the company of a second, older man, who rebelled when the suspect was arrested. The two men were taken into custody at a police station in Ville Parisis, near the terminus of the line. RER traffic was disrupted this Thursday morning at the Denfert-Rochereau station. After the report, an RER train was stopped at Châtelet for 30 to 40 minutes for checks. “Traffic is severely disrupted on the entire line due to operating difficulties,” the line's official X account simply commented shortly after 11 a.m.
