On Monday, the rail network linking Lyon to Roanne (Rhône) was severely disrupted due to a power outage. Many passengers found themselves stranded in their train.

The passengers were eventually dropped off at an abandoned train station before being picked up by taxis. On Tuesday, traffic between Roanne and Lyon was once again interrupted, this time between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., a passenger on a TER departing from Lyon told BFMTV. In total, they will have spent nearly six hours stuck in their TER.
