Gendarmes seized a large arsenal from an individual living in seclusion near Nice. Pistols, rifles, sabers, knives, tasers and thousands of ammunition were recovered.
The man was lying down, weakened because he was no longer eating, and was then taken to hospital. He was in possession of different firearms, but acquired completely legally because he had declared them. He lived in total darkness, without windows or electricity, but among his weapons, the regional daily Nice-Matin reported.
