Rina studies the sustainability of cruise tourism - Green & Blue. Rina, a company that operates in the naval engineering and consultancy sector, has been awarded a contract by the Cruise Lines International Association.

The research will outline the global scenario until 2050, mapping energy needs, infrastructure and regulations. Data shows 55 new cruise ships on order today, representing an investment of $37.1 billion globally over the next five years. It is also expected that, by 2028, more than 70% of the cruise ship fleet of Clia member companies will be equipped to receive power from shore.
