The THW strong beer festival in Günding was a complete success. The Dachau party band Ois Easy brought the atmosphere to a boil with ease.
The women and men were able to demonstrate their strength by lifting traditional beer steins. The men had to complete three preliminary rounds and each had to lift a beer mug weighing five kilos. In the men's final round it was exciting until the end. The first prize, a suckling pig, went to Wolfgang Fetting, who took part in the lifting for the first time. Dagmar Wagner took first place among the women.
