Primoz Roglic will not take part in next Wednesday's FrecciaVallone and in Liège-Bastogne-Liège on 21 April. Slovenian is recovering after the fall at the Tour of the Basque Country.
He gave up on the fourth stage after a group crash that also involved Remco Evenepoel, Jonas Vingegaard, Jay Vine and Steff Cras. The winner of the last Giro crashed on stages 3 and 4 of the Tour of the Basque Country. He is expected to make a full recovery in time for the Tour de France in June. He will be accompanied by his team, BORA-Hansgrohe, for the rest of the season. The Slovenian will miss the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the G Tour of Italy. He has also been ruled out of the 2014 Tour de France after suffering a knee injury.
