A 21-year-old man from Rottach was sentenced to a suspended sentence by the jury. The judge recognized his efforts in therapy.

Rottacher's lawyer explained that her client began using drugs at the young age of ten to numb the grief over the death of a family member. The five-time convicted person received a standard juvenile sentence of one year and eight months on probation, including an open criminal record, as well as the requirement to continue his therapy and begin vocational training as soon as possible.
