A 73-year-old man was mowed down by a motorist in Rueil-Malmaison. The driver, 21, was not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
Drug and alcohol tests both came back negative. The circumstances of the accident still remain unclear. On Friday, another retiree, aged 92, was the victim of a serious accident. In circumstances which remain to be clarified, the nonagenarian who was riding a bicycle without a helmet collided with a motorcyclist. The latter lost consciousness when he was taken in by emergency services.
