The Prosecutor's Office had requested a 3-year sentence. The story dates back to 11 December 2016 in Altichiero (Padua) where Valsugana Rugby and Rangers Vicenza, at the time both Serie A teams, were facing each other. The former player's lawyers have already announced an appeal.
