Seine-Saint-Denis and Pierrefitte invite the population to give their opinion on the future merger of the two cities. Between February and June, “five meeting times” will be organized in several neighborhoods.
A “closing party” of the consultation will take place in June. Since the announcement of this upcoming merger, the oppositions have demanded a referendum or even the abandonment of the file before the next municipal elections, scheduled for 2026. Two amendments to this effect were tabled on April 20. Both texts were rejected.
