21-year-old suspect attacked the children with a flashlight and a knife and seriously injured them. After the attack, the two children could have escaped to a primary school two blocks away. There, a teacher came to help them, the police reported. Both were then taken to the hospital, where they were treated for their injuries and taken to a hospital in Duisburg.
