Semilla Movement won 23 seats of the 160 that make up the parliament for the 2024-2028 period. This is their second term as the organization, created in 2018, placed only seven deputies in 2020.
The provisional suspension of the party began on July 12, 2023, two weeks after Semilla's victory at the polls. The measure was taken because, according to the MP, Semilla used false signatures to create the party, which generated an investigation that remains confidential and under the responsibility of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Impunity.
