Several fires started at roundabouts in East and Oberallgäu. In one case, a spark that had already burned out was re-ignited.
Police suspect that there was a protest background, as isolated symbols such as a gallows or a coffin could be found near the fires. All fires were unregistered and unsupervised. The exact number of fires has not yet been conclusively determined. No major property damage was caused by the fire; a detailed inspection will take place later in the day.
