Swiss ski area Dent-de-Vaulion is struggling with a lack of snow. The reason for this: climate change.

January was significantly too warm. Excursions off the piste are especially out of the question. There is only one way out: the slopes must be prepared with artificial snow, similar to Wildhaus in the canton of St. Gallen, in order to ensure normal operation and at least a bit of ski romance. At least you don't have to walk up the mountain like another well-known ski resort.
