Six hundred counterfeit Paris 2024 toys seized from a wholesaler in Aubervilliers. During a check, customs discovered 603 three-dimensional geometric puzzles and manual game consoles.
This is a first in France according to customs officials, in terms of seizure of counterfeiting of the “Paris 2024 Olympic Games” brand. This seizure is part of the new 2024-2026 counterfeiting plan, which Thomas Cazenave, Minister for Public Accounts, presented on March 1. In 2023, customs removed more than 20 million counterfeit items from the market, an exceptional and unprecedented result.
