Trainees from the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (AELF) demonstrated their skills and knowledge of the forest at the regional decision of the forestry competition. The 29 students first took a written knowledge test with questions about forest law, pests, tasks of forest owners' associations and similar theoretical material.
Next year, the practical test in agricultural competition will be part of the curriculum for the trainees at the AELF. At the Bavarian Championships, Michael Geiger from Bichl and Korbinian Kasper will represent the Oberland alongside Lena Schmidt (Peine in Lower Saxony)
