The attempt to pull the animal out of the ditch by hand using fire hoses failed. The lifting straps of the animal rescue harness were pulled under the body of the now noticeably exhausted horse. Thanks to a makeshift bridge made of planks, work could be carried out from both sides of the water. According to reports, the horse survived the accident without any serious injuries.
