Mountain photographer Bernd Ritschel is releasing a new illustrated book. “Climb higher, see further” describes the happiness of being in the mountains.
The full-page images are accompanied by ‘mountain messages’ from well-known poets such as Mark Twain and Matthias Claudius. ‘The mountains bring you into peace. A small piece of the timelessly sovereign demeanor of the mountains can be passed on to us,’ says the 60-year-old.
