A heating system caught fire in a farmhouse in Ismaning shortly before midnight on Wednesday. The owner's wife noticed it first and called the fire department.
The fire and smoke were contained within a short time; ventilation took some time until the operation was ended after an hour and ten minutes. Two residents suffered minor injuries from the smoke. The reason for the incident was a defect in the heating system, according to the fire Department. The emergency services were on site quickly and had the situation under control immediately.
