Snow and slippery conditions at high altitudes in the southwest. There could be freezing wet weather in some places until Thursday morning.

So far, the opportunities for winter sports enthusiasts in the country have been rather limited. Only 2 of a total of 17 lifts and cable cars are in operation at the Feldbergbahnen in Feldberg, Baden-Württemberg. The weather service expects further snowfall in the southern Black Forest, the western Alb and the Allgäu.
