Historic post office building in Tölz town center demolished. An underground car park and a supermarket are to be built in the same location.

Former Schmederer and Niederberger houses on Hindenburgstrasse will also be removed in June. All buildings have been empty for a long time and the post office closed in June 2023. The owner of the area is Aureus Oberland GmbH, based in Gmund and with an office in Bad T Ölz.
