Spain: a far-left party announces that it wants to include abortion in the Constitution. The radical left Sumar party, partner of the Socialists within the Spanish left-wing government, announced on Wednesday that it wanted to register it.
France on Monday became the first country to explicitly include voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG) in its Constitution. This vote was welcomed by the Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
