Geltendorf wants to create a special area for the use of wind power. Suitable areas are in a forested area north of state road 2054 southeast of Hausen.
Four wind turbines with a height (including rotor diameter) of 250 meters could be built here. The construction and start of operation of the systems is not expected until 2027 at the earliest. The plans have now been presented publicly for the first time to the local council. The location more than adheres to the prescribed distance from the nearest residential development.
