Sports honor 2024 in the Ebersberg district: 340 medals awarded. In total, District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß awarded medals to 340 athletes from 27 clubs.
Kurt Rüger, a reigning U17 soccer world champion (FC Bayern Munich / TSV Pliening Landsham), and Vivien Klee and Paul Holleis, the mixed Ü-40 crossminton world champions (TSV Poing) were honored. The Bavarian State Sports Association also awarded the sports badge twice during the event.
