State exhibition commemorates the Peasants' War. 500 years later, a state exhibition is planned that is made up of various pieces of the puzzle.
The decentralized exhibition entitled “Gerechtigkeyt 1525’ is planned at several locations. “The Peasant's War marked a significant turning point in German history, in which farmers fought for their rights and a fairer society,” said Prime Minister Reiner Haseloff. The federal and state governments are making around six million euros available for the implementation of the state exhibition.
