A series of new terms, proposed by the Commission for the Enrichment of the French Language, was published on February 14 in the Official Journal to “deconstruct” some anglicisms. “Fake streaming” and “connoisseurship” are among the terms to be favored.
Instead of “brand content” which does not mean much, it is suggested to use the terms “branded content’ or “promotional content�”
