Strong thunderstorms and squalls in Bavaria – the weather service warns of lightning strikes and falling branches. The German Weather Service has extended the warning for strong thunderstorms in the Free State - it is valid until Thursday (March 21st), 5:30 p.m.
The warnings for the area around Nuremberg and Regensburg have now been lifted. There could be gusts of wind with speeds of up to 70 km/h, as well as heavy rain with precipitation amounts of around 15 liters per square meter in a short time.
