The 24-year-old suspect was arrested during an operation by the Northern Military District and the Border Unit with the aim of thwarting the weapons from reaching hostile or criminal elements. It is suspected that the weapons found in his possession were intended for terrorist activity.
The North Military Police, through the border unit, acted against illegal amla dealers in one of the Galilee settlements. During the operation, the forces identified a Honda-type vehicle and near the Karmiel intersection, the police forces stopped the vehicle and seized inside it, a Matador-type shoulder missile with an operating system.
