Tax hammer in Eurasburg: Local council is struggling with a 1.7 million euro hole in the budget. Trade tax notices from 2022 have been reset.
This has serious consequences for the community of Eurasburg. There isn't even 1,000 euros left for a kitchenette in a primary school. The sports club is the first to feel this: the desired subsidy of around 1.3 million euros for the planned artificial turf was finally rejected by the local council. For the first time in many, many years, some of the investment measures that had already been planned were canceled.
